We are looking to recruit an expert Autism Assistant Hub Lead to develop and support our brand-new Autism Enhanced Resource Provision, which will open, initially with 2 students, in Easter 2025, leading to 8 students over the coming year. This is an exciting opportunity for the Assistant Hub Lead to be an integral part of the Hub’s design and development, to be there from the start of this incredible journey!
The Hub is being developed in conjunction with Peterborough Local Authority; its 8 places are for students in Key Stage 3 & 4, whose predominant need and diagnosis is an Autistic Spectrum Condition. Students will be sufficiently cognitively able to access mainstream provision when deemed appropriate, but would benefit from the additional support, structure and resources that a Hub provides.
The right candidate will, as well as leading the provision on a day-to-day basis, be instrumental in the development and delivery of intervention programmes, particularly related to social & emotional, literacy and numeracy, and life skills curriculum within the Hub.
