We currently have a great opportunity for a Planned Works Manager to join our in-house maintenance company, Property Plus on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Role
As our Planned Works Manager, you will oversee the Planned Works team, ensuring high standards in project delivery, health and safety compliance, and resource management. This role is integral to our commitment to exceptional service, supporting community improvement and the long-term sustainability of our housing services. Skills and experience required:
* HNC in building or equivalent relevant experience (desirable)
* Nationally recognised NVQ Level 2 / 3 Trade qualification (desirable)
* Extensive knowledge of housing maintenance, refurbishment and associated H&S legislation and application.
* Experience in mentoring staff to improve skill base and knowledge.
* Experience of a social housing repairs and maintenance environment.
* Good IT skills with the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Packages
* Able to identify service failures, recommend and track remedial actions
* Able to analyse survey results and complaints to identify trends (desirable)
* Good customer care skills
* Ability to deal with difficult customers effectively
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
* Ability to agree action plans and track delivery
* High level of negotiating / influencing skills
* Full UK Driving Licence
