Job Title: Educational Psychologist
We are looking for an experienced Educational Psychologist to join our team at Overton School in Shropshire. As an Educational Psychologist, you will work with schools to support the development of therapeutic environments and implement Trauma Informed and Neurodiversity Affirming practice.
You will provide psychological assessment and intervention for pupils within the schools, offer guidance for education teams, and communicate with families/carers and specialist agencies.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a masters or doctoral professional qualification in Educational Psychology, HCPC registration, and experience working with people with complex SEN needs. You will need to be creative, passionate about improving outcomes for pupils, and have strong skills in assessment and report writing.
Key Accountabilities:
* Provide psychological assessment and intervention for pupils within the schools
* Offer guidance for education teams
* Communicating with families/ carers and specialist agencies
* Engage in professional development training for all staff
