Procurement at East Midlands Education Trust (EMET) is a strategic function that is involved in ensuring all non-staff expenditure is spent in line with policy and regulation. The function also manages group Tenders and obtains goods, services and works from supply markets that EMET and its schools require to support its daily operations and long-term strategic goals, whilst minimising risk to the organisation. Currently with 23 schools, EMET represents the full educational age range of 3 - 19 including an alternative education provider. Our Central Services Team are seeking to appoint a Procurement Assistant to support with all aspects of the procurement cycle, day to day administration of the function, supplier management and to support the Procurement Manager to deliver an effective procurement program in line with the Trust’s Procurement Strategy. In return, you will receive 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, you will have access to the Local Government Pension Scheme and an employee wellbeing scheme. Holiday entitlement rises to 29 days and 32 days after 5 and 10 years of service respectively.
