Pertemps are working with a prestigious client who is based in East Kilbride who has a new requirement for someone to join their team in the capacity of a Finance Assistant. This role would suit someone who has a varied accounts background including credit control and accounts payable but also someone who is happy dealing with administration. The client is offering fantastic benefits including hybrid working and the salary is circa £30k.
Duties will include:
Accounts
1. Credit Control, Sales Ledger and Purchasing
2. Generating of monthly invoices and billings accurately and timeously
3. Payment transactions – including BACS; Direct Debit Collections; Foreign Payments;
4. Expenses Reporting and Updates
5. Payment Allocation and Bank Reconciliation
6. Management of Financial Customer Database pricing formulas, contact details, mail
7. shots
8. Generating Financial Management Reports
Administration
9. Providing support to internal events, communications and sales process
10. Responding timeously and efficiently to client support tickets
11. Supporting Human Resources in administrative tasks on an ad hoc basis
12. Assisting with the triage of incoming support calls, working with support colleagues to ensure tickets are allocated correctly.
13. Arranging travel for senior staff
14. Providing support in relation to external communications control for all external messaging to clients.
15. Managing the internal newsletter and Intranet content
16. Supporting internal meetings (production of documentation and any facilities required)
17. Any other admin duties as required.
Skills Required:
18. Previous experience in accounts/finance
19. You should be organised, innovative and deadline driven with excellent attention to detail and excellent literacy skills
20. Have a sound understanding of MS Office
21. Experience in a similar role would be advantageous
22. Knowledge of Xero accounts package beneficial, but not essential
