We are seeking a values driven Deputy Manager to join a charity that provides world leading support for people with epilepsy through Care, Research and Advocacy. We are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic and dedicated individual with working experience in care, having a knowledge of all regulations associated with care services and supporting staff in person-centred planning for our residents. Your focus as Deputy Manager will be to support the Registered Manager to operate a compliant, effective and responsive care home which provides a safe, caring and stimulating environment for the people living in the home and their visitors, whilst meeting stringent professional and statutory standards and commercial performance targets. For this position, it is essential that you hold a minimum of a Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification, alongside demonstrative experience of leading and managing teams within care homes. You will be working in a happy, fun and productive environment. As the Deputy Manager you will play a key role within the service to ensure the best possible person-centred care is delivered. You will work closely with and provide support to the Registered Manager, ensuring high standards and professional practice and that the service is CQC compliant. You’ll promote an enabling environment, whilst ensuring compliance with quality and external regulatory standards are met at all times. Through your enthusiasm and passion, you will maintain good relationships with all our stakeholders and lead people to lead the best life possible that are affected by epilepsy. You will participate in an on-call system as a senior point of call on rotation and deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence.
