The Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced qualified Senior Health Care Worker to join our team and professionally lead the care team during any span of duty, ensuring that a safe, effective, and efficient care service is maintained which meets the needs of our service users. Also, to provide care to service users in accordance with their assessed needs and to undertake the duties and responsibilities listed below:
1. Provide leadership and support for care staff and act as a champion for service users.
2. Ensure safety and dignity.
3. Provide effective leadership and support for the care team.
4. Supervise the care services within Compkey Healthcare in accordance with agreed standards.
5. Liaise with GPs and other health professionals to ensure that service users receive the medical and clinical support they require.
6. Expect high quality care delivery focused on service users' individually assessed needs and choices.
7. Promote the professional image of the services through excellent communication, appropriate behaviour and professional appearance.
8. Provide care in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, and relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager.
9. Maintain skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may from time to time be required to maintain practices as up to date.
10. Use Digital Recording Equipment and mobile technology as per Compkey Healthcare Policy.
Requirements:
1. At least 1-3 years of experience working in healthcare.
2. A degree level qualification in healthcare/NVQ Level 3 or 4.
3. Evidence of up to date continued professional development.
