Team: Trading Standards About the role An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Trading Standards Team for a full time, Trading Standards - Enforcement Officer. The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a Trading Standards team, be adaptable, creative and have experience and understanding in dealing with regulatory enforcement issues, and a good understanding of enforcement, including the preparation of prosecution reports. The role will predominently involve work in the area of seizures of illicit products, and processing the seized items to conclusion, and dealing with consumer complaints. As part of the wider Public Protection Team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside colleagues who carry out a wide range of statutory functions, including Neighbourhoods Enforcement, Private Sector Rented Housing, Licensing and Commercial and there will be opportunities to work collaboratively across the teams when necessary. Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week based around the usual business working week.
