The role
As a Quality Control Engineer, you’ll support the wider mechanical work activities of assembly, test, and receipt inspection work being conducted at Whetstone.
Day-to-day, you’ll inspect visual and dimensional supply chain deliverables and, on occasions, conduct inspections at source.
1. Support the project management process for our kitting and, as required, demand spares projects.
2. Provide support and advice on all matters QC&I as required.
3. Manage priorities for inspection and document review in coordination with project teams.
4. Apply the Business Management System (BMS) appropriately for the projects, produce and communicate project reporting data, including, but not limited to, technical query and non-conformance reporting.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week, and based in Leicester.
Essential experience of the Quality Control Engineer:
1. Recent and relevant experience in a similar environment/business sector.
2. Awareness of engineering principles and common project challenges.
Qualifications for the Quality Control Engineer:
1. ONC / HNC / Craft or equivalent in Mechanical / Production Engineering.
