About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to work as an Academic Mentor for our Mechatronics apprenticeship programme at OnlyFE. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing apprenticeships in Engineering (Mechatronics) Apprenticeship Standard.
The successful candidate will have experience of designing and implementing engaging learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of apprentices. If you are passionate about developing the skills and knowledge of aspiring engineers, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality teaching and training to ensure apprentices achieve their full potential.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers, stakeholders, and colleagues to support the delivery of apprenticeships.
* Mentor and guide apprentices through their programme, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help them succeed.
* Evaluate and assess apprentices' progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A recognised teaching qualification and/or extensive experience in delivering apprenticeships in Engineering (Mechatronics).
* An understanding of the Mechatronics Apprenticeship Standard and its requirements.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
* The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary of up to £35,501 per annum, plus benefits, reflecting your qualifications and experience. This is a permanent position, working 37 hours per week throughout the year. You will be based in Rotherham, with occasional off-site travel required.
