About the Role
Join our team as a Security Officer and play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of individuals and property within your assigned area. As a vigilant observer, you will report activities and incidents at the client site, utilising tools such as wands and metal detectors. With a focus on service enhancement and ongoing training, you will contribute to maintaining a secure environment.
This position requires:
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
⏰ 42.5 hours per week
SIA license required
Driving License or have good travel links

Job Opportunity
* To carry out all duties assigned in a safe manner, observing all statutory regulations and any local regulations that may be in force.
* Ensure that all Contractors and their tools are accounted for and always managed safely and securely whilst within the establishment, including when they leave, in accordance with written instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, Assignment Instructions and as per local induction training and processes.
* Ensure that all paperwork is handed to relevant people.
* Ensure good housekeeping, that the work area is left in a clean, tidy, safe & secure manner always.
* Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels, both in writing and orally (including good telephone manner) and ability to use communication devices i.e., Radios.
* Flexible and proactive with a commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement to working approach.
* Ability to self-motivate.
* Responsible for the external areas of the work zone, to carry out regular inspections to ensure they are kept free from litter and are clean and presentable.
Essential Skills
* SIA Licence
* 3yrs experience as a Security Officer
* Driver's Licence and access to own vehicle
* RTW and 5yr checkable history
* Confident and vigilant
* Good customer service
* Conflict management
* IT literate
