About the role
We are looking for two highly skilled and motivated professionals to join our team. As a Measurement Systems Maintenance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation, accuracy, and reliability of our measurement and analysis systems of the IM fleet. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our cutting-edge equipment, enabling us to uphold our commitment to precision and data quality.
Key accountabilities include:
1. Review equipment maintenance schedules; progress servicing, calibration and safety checks in accordance with manufacturers specification.
2. Respond to and resolve measurement system faults in order to restore systems to service as soon as possible.
3. Monitor and identify trends in equipment failures and calibration results.
4. Progress resolution of fault reports in computer based measurement and analysis systems.
5. Update data acquisition and analysis software and undertake all necessary quality control and validation checks.
6. Support the production of technical documentation relating to measurement and analysis systems, including specifications, technical reports, operating and training instructions.
7. Provide remote on board system support.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following criteria:
Essential
* HNC/HND in a relevant subject.
* Experience in instrumentation and data acquisition systems as applied to measurement systems.
* Experience in service delivery.
Desirable
* Laser Competent Person qualification.
* Knowledge of high level programming languages and operating systems.
* Knowledge of both quality and calibration standards.
