A fast-growing clearing bank is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Manager to join their team in delivering innovative banking solutions to corporate, financial, and institutional clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to develop their career in B2B sales within the financial services sector. The role focuses on promoting and selling non-lending banking products, including payments solutions, client-segregated accounts, and deposit accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Acquisition: Identify and engage prospective clients, understanding their needs, and introducing suitable banking solutions.
2. Product Promotion: Effectively present and promote payments, client-segregated accounts, and deposit products to meet client requirements.
3. Sales Target Achievement: Contribute to team sales targets by building a strong pipeline of opportunities and converting leads into closed deals.
Experience:
1. Previous experience in a sales or client-facing role within banking, payments, or financial services.
2. Experience of selling regulated products. Payments, client money accounts, and deposits are particularly relevant.
3. Knowledge of UK and global payments systems, including SWIFT.
4. Familiarity with virtual/crypto assets and tokenisation.
Due to the nature of the role, candidates with previous sales banking experience are preferred.
