Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Teacher to join our team at Hilden Park school. As a Teacher, you will play a vital role in helping our students achieve their goals and develop essential life skills. You will work closely with our experienced staff to create engaging lesson plans and provide individualized support to each student.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach a range of subjects to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger's, and Speech, Language, and Communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure seamless transition and progress tracking
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger's, and Speech, Language, and Communication needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
