Control Systems Integration Engineer
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team. As a Control Systems Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of projects, ensuring technical compliance and quality. Your role will include attending client meetings to discuss design, surveys, software programming, configuration, testing, and commissioning.
You will bring an innovative approach to problem solving and work with highly skilled engineers to develop and succeed in your career.
The ideal candidate will have experience with PLCs, SCADA, HMI, variable speed drives, and instrumentation products, preferably with a maintenance or electrical background.
Full-time position: (08:30-17:15 Monday to Thursday and 08:30-16:00 on Fridays)
What we are looking for:
* Experience in designing control system PLC and HMI/SCADA software, including making amendments and upgrades to existing systems.
* Experience in producing project documentation.
* Competence in programming PLCs such as Siemens, Rockwell, or Mitsubishi, and/or SCADA systems like Siemens, Rockwell, or Wonderware.
* UK site commissioning experience (may involve short periods away from home).
What we require from you:
* At least 2 years of previous control system experience.
* Software Engineering Degree and/or Electrical qualifications.
* Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi PLCs, or SCADA platforms like Wonderware, Iconics, Schneider, etc.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Clean UK Driving License.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* For Lead positions: Ability to motivate and manage a team of engineers to improve performance (must have over 5+ years of experience).
