Want to know how?
As an engineer, you understand the importance of products functioning as designed and meeting customer needs. Imagine that your product is used by the UK government to help keep the country safe. Your role is crucial in this context.
You will engage with end users to understand their requirements, develop appropriate test solutions, conduct lab tests and real-world trials, and ensure your products perform when needed. You will document results, analyze product behavior, and provide updates to stakeholders. The work concludes with your technical report, vital for assessing product readiness for deployment.
You will work across technologies such as RF, cellular, and GPS, and capabilities like tracking, audio, and video systems, at various lifecycle stages. You will also help define evaluation approaches. Occasionally, lifting heavy test equipment (up to 25kg), manageable with two people, will be necessary.
Your career development will be supported through coaching, mentoring, training courses, and accreditation.
