Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Performance Manager with a strong background in Paid Social Advertising to join our dynamic performance marketing team in a growing creative agency. In this role, you will oversee and optimise our paid social media campaigns for a wide range of clients, driving performance through data-driven insights and strategies across various platforms including Meta, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn, and more.
As this is a mid-level performance manager role, the spread of responsibilities will also will cover paid search as well, with this is expected to be around 30% of your workload. Your expertise will play a key part in evolving our service and maximising client ROI.
This is an opportunity to be part of a growing agency, effectively leading the paid social strategy with potential for this to become a more senior role.
Salary range - £35,000 to £40,000
Key Responsibilities Of This Role:
* Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of paid social media campaigns across key platforms.
* Support with management and changes to search engine advertising across high spend Google Ads accounts
* Define campaign goals and create plans to meet client objectives, including customer acquisition, lead generation, and brand awareness.
* Oversee budget allocation and bidding strategies, ensuring campaigns are cost-efficient while maximizing performance.
* Create and manage campaign budgets, pacing, and bidding strategies to ensure cost-effective delivery and ROI.
* Work alongside senior directors to evolve campaigns based on client needs.
* Performance Analysis & Optimisation:
* Monitor key performance metrics and analyse campaign performance to identify trends and areas of improvement based on client objectives.
* Conduct A/B tests on creative, copy, and targeting strategies to optimise ad performance.
* Use analytics tools to measure, report, and improve the effectiveness of campaigns
* Partner with creative teams to ensure ad creatives align with campaign objectives and resonate with target audiences.
* Provide feedback on ad performance and suggest creative improvements based on campaign insights.
* Audience Targeting & Segmentation:
* Develop detailed audience segmentation strategies to ensure ads are reaching the right people at the right time, based on client objectives.
* Leverage platform-specific tools to define audience segments and refine targeting to drive better results.
* Reporting & Communication:
* Support in preparing regular reports on campaign performance, insights, and actionable recommendations.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on performance, strategy, and improvements.
* Trend Monitoring & Best Practices:
* Stay up to date with the latest trends, updates, and best practices in paid social advertising, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of innovation.
* Test new platforms, formats, and approaches to drive growth and engagement.
Experience we’re looking for:
* Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in paid media advertising, with a focus on paid social.
* 1+ year of this experience involved in paid search advertising and campaign management.
* Proven track record of managing and optimising paid social campaigns across multiple platforms.
* Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics and KPIs and how to create strategies to meet those objectives.
* Agency experience is essential for this role.
* Skills & Expertise:
* Expertise in using advertising managers platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Tiktok Business Centre.
* Proficiency in data analysis, with the ability to interpret and act on performance metrics.
* Strong knowledge of audience targeting, segmentation, and testing methodologies.
* Excellent project management and organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
* Education:
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is desirable

* Highly analytical and comfortable with data-driven decision-making.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Creative mindset with an eye for compelling ad creatives.
* Experience in working on high budget campaigns targeting multiple geographies.
