Youwillbeinvolved in the delivery and planningofa variety ofonline and/or in-personpsychoeducationaland therapygroups forsignificantmental health difficulties, includingleading on the facilitation andthe deliveryof aManaging EmotionsGroup programmealongside a Voluntary Sector partner. Youwill have opportunitiesto contribute to the widerpsychologicaltherapies provisiondepending on your interests,includingwithinthe Community Mental Health Psychological Therapies services, as well asproviding supervisory input to junior psychological staff.
You will be well supported and supervised by aPsychologist, and will work within a dynamic, people-centred environment, where you will be able to shape and improve provision for patients with complex conditions.Your base for this role can be in Reading or Wokingham, althougha significant proportionof the service delivery will be online
• To work as part of a team to support and enhance the psychological care of adults with significant mental health issues in primary care.
• Tosupport andlead on thedelivery ofagroupManaging Emotions Programmeand other group programmesfor people withemotional regulationdifficultiesand SMIacrossBerkshire,together with holding a caseload of clients requiring individual CBT for SMI.
• To liaise and work closely in partnership with a Voluntary sector provider in jointly delivering andfacilitatingthe group programme
• Toparticipatein the implementation and development of system-wide mental health services that will contribute to improved experience for people with serious mental health problems in primary care.
• To provide, supervise and support specialist psychological assessment and treatment, formulation and consultation to clients and staff within the clinical team and system to which the post-holder is attached, across all sectors of care.

The “must haves” for you to be considered for this role:
• Post graduatequalification in CBTordoctoral qualification inClinical/CounsellingPsychology (or equivalent)orAdvanced Mental Health Practitioner withsignificant experiencein psychoeducational CBT-based interventions
• Accreditation with BABCPorRegistered with HealthCare &ProfessionsCouncil (HCPC)
• Experienceand interest of working inmental healthmultidisciplinary teams / multi-agency environment as well as experience of teaching / training of health care professionals
• Evidence of specific psychological training in working with clients with significant mental health difficulties
• Knowledge of working with clients with emotion regulation difficulties
