Our client provides independent garages and bodyshops with the high-quality Genuine Parts and products for 4 interlinked automotive brands.
They now seek a CENTRE MANAGER who can take responsibility for leading, managing and motivating the team to deliver and achieve the business plans and objectives of the Centre; ensuring excellence in customer service, developing strategic plans and making certain all processes are in place to deliver success.
A summary of key activities include:
* Ensure that the Centre targets and business objectives are achieved
* Ensure the team is motivated, recognised and incentivised
* Create Personal Development Plans, monitor progress and provide developmental or corrective support where required
* Create and maintain a customer centric culture in the business
* Maintain a culture that consistently delivers a high standard of customer service.
* Work within the identified sales strategy to increase sales revenues, devising and implementing sales plans.
* Regularly monitor business performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
* Analyse internal and external market data to develop an understanding of the potential sales opportunities.
* Work to achieve agreed business plans and budget – controlling costs and Gross Margin levels
* Ensure compliance with business standards and processes, financial, legal and ethical guidelines (including Warranty).
* Maintain an effective relationship with all stakeholders.
This role demands a professional leader with select skills. You’ll need to demonstrate a proven ability for managing, leading and motivating an automotive parts team – ideally in the trade parts sector. Having overseen a parts tele-sales team will be a distinct advantage.
Additional key requirements include:
* A passion for providing a great customer service experience and the automotive industry
* The ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
* Experience devising strategies and implementing plans
* Talent for devising strategies and activities to grow and develop business
* A sales focus with orientation towards results
* Strong IT literacy – including the use of automotive parts bespoke systems and Microsoft applications.
