Job overview We are looking for a domestic assistant for our Private Ward located on the 15th Floor or Charing Cross Hospital The main key duties for the role will be: Maintaining high standard of cleanliness. Be organised and clean, following Health & Safety and infection control and prevention procedures. Work as a team player, assisting others when required. Ability to work to high standard when unsupervised. Main duties of the job You will be required to use chemicals and handle cleaning equipment responsibly, and within health and safety guidelines. You will be responsible for maintaining patient, staff and public safety through appropriate use of warning signage whilst cleaning. You are required to work on their own or as part of a team to deliver services as directed by policies, procedures and national standards which are monitored by supervisory staff. You will need to have a friendly and helpful manner and have a sensitive approach when dealing with patients and their families.
