Reports to: Senior Client Director
The role
The Data & Analytics team on the PlayStation account brings together data recording paid for media activity with ePOS and Console data to measure the effectiveness of media and provide guidance to optimise campaign performance. Approximately 60% of this data is entered manually into custom planning tools built specifically for PlayStation. Your role is to monitor the quality of this data entry, focusing mostly on the US, and ensure planning and activation teams are following naming conventions, mapping activity to the correct media channels and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ongoing monitoring of campaign and placement names both in planning tools and in platforms such as Google, Meta, Twitter, Amazon, and so on.
* Ensure planning and activations are reporting on all offline and digital media direct buys.
* Recording all the results of all tests and mapping them to the correct campaigns.
* Work with developers on providing hot fixes when data has not been entered correctly.
* Provide customer support in Slack channels to both PlayStation and EMC teams.
Considerations:
1. Client Management: You are in a customer support role, so will be expected to work directly with PlayStation responding to their queries and providing them assistance.
2. Internal stakeholder management: You will need to get the best out of a distributed planning and activation team across the global. Encouraging them to populate data correctly and clarify what they are working on. You will need to develop strong relationships with them to reduce the number of hot fixes you have to apply.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Trust levels in data and analytics work from the rest of the business.
- Speed of response to reported data entry errors.
Qualifications/Experience/Capabilities:
- Knowledge of planning processes and media data management.
- Knowledge of BigQuery, Snowflake, Looker, and Domo.
- Excellent communication skills and a good organiser.
