The role of Cleaning Contract Manager is vital as you are co-ordinating the operations function ensuring client satisfaction at client sites. It is important that clients, staff and other outside agencies are greeted in a warm, friendly, courteous and professional manner. You are responsible for keeping up to date records and developing management systems. You should be courteous and respectful to your colleagues at all sites and at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide operational support at contract level and ensure that all operational requirements of the contracts are met.
* Interface with clients and ensure the Operations Manager is kept fully informed of any issues that evolve on site.
* Manage all directly employed staff including Area and Site Supervisors.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety and environmental procedures and legislation.
* Maintain conversance with company procedures and organisation.
Duties will include:
* Provision of operational support, including cover cleaning operatives and personal cleaning if necessary.
* Operational planning with responsibility for contract performance and monitoring.
* Client interface including listening to clients, advising on follow-up, and resolving issues.
* Management of staff including recruitment, training, performance management, and retention.
* Management of budgets in liaison with the Operations Manager.
* Collation and reporting of management information and development of management systems.
* Contact point for enquiries from company departments including sales, stores, administration, accounts, HR, and payroll.
* Stock control to ensure correct stock products and levels on site.
* Provision and maintenance of Site Reference Manuals, including Health & Safety documentation.
* Carrying out risk assessments as required.
* Proactive adherence to the Company Environmental Policy.
* Attending new client site meetings and assisting with setup.
* Maintaining a friendly and helpful attitude to clients and staff.
* Use of computer systems in accordance with company procedures.
