We are pleased to announce an exciting new opportunity for a Manufacturing Improvement Manager, covering both our Bathgate and Scunthorpe sites.
This role is a fantastic opportunity to drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence, playing a key part in achieving Best in Class Manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Embedding lean manufacturing practices to reduce waste and improve efficiency
2. Leading continuous improvement initiatives and training production staff
3. Supporting key manufacturing metrics such as safety, quality, customer order fulfilment, and cost management
4. Providing proactive leadership to build a culture of ownership, engagement, and development

Skills and Expertise:
We’re looking for a passionate and driven leader who thrives in a fast paced, 24/7 production with:
* FMCG and food manufacturing leadership experience (minimum of 5 years)
* A track record of driving continuous improvement using lean methodologies
* Strong understanding of BRC standards and compliance in food production
* Expertise in managing budgets, costs and operational efficiencies
* MRP experience to optimise production planning
An added benefit would be experience in bakery, gluten-free or “free from” manufacturing.
