Seasonal Museum Attendant (10/0098) (Fixed Term)

We are looking to recruit a seasonal attendant to work at the Castle of St John from 20 May to 25 October 2025. This fixed term post is for 15 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours.
This is a fun and challenging role at a popular local landmark.
Working front of house, we need reliable, trustworthy, and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about providing a high standard of customer service. Responsibilities will include:
1. Greeting customers
2. Facilitating tours
3. Answering telephones
4. Providing customer information
5. Operating the gift shop
6. Basic record keeping
7. Maintaining building security and cleanliness
8. Participating in the Castle's living history events
Excellent communication and customer care skills are essential, as is the ability to work with members of the public.
Applicants should be educated to Standard Grade Level or equivalent, and some local knowledge of the area would be an advantage.
