What skills and experience we're looking for
This is an opportunity to join us in making a significant difference to the students at St Thomas a Becket.
The successful candidate will join a team of 5 Student Support Officers, each one working closely with a particular year group alongside the Year Leader, focusing on behaviour management, and day to day operational issues associated with pastoral care that are acting as a barrier to their learning. The role will involve liaising with the DSL, Pastoral team, SLT, parents/carers and relevant outside agencies. Patience, adaptability and a sense of humour are essential for the role. Experience of behaviour management, safeguarding in schools and pastoral care is desirable.
As a member of our team you will be supported and challenged, so that as well as contributing to students’ success and that of the School, you are personally developed in your career.
What the school offers its staff
