The post holder will be responsible for supporting the Heads of Migrant Health in developing policies, director briefs and papers and agendas in the migrant health agenda and wider governance and assurance of health and justice, armed forces and SAAS. The post holder will support the Associate Director on matters arising from key stakeholders including policy leads from across Justice, Migrant Health Armed Forces and SAAs as repository for the overall programme database. Improving quality and outcomes To ensure the Migrant Health programmes of works are well-organised, to recognised national programme support methodology, with an auditable record of programme budget, documentation, risks, issues, and decisions, so that progress can be evidenced, and lessons learned. To work collaboratively across NHS England matrix, including integrating the National Directors portfolio. Enabling patient and public involvement To act as a champion for patients and their interests and involve the public and patients in the policy development and decision-making of NHS England. To ensure all public and patient contact with the office is of the highest professional standard. To embed patient and public involvement within NHS England at all levels of decision making. Using insight and evidence for improvement To use previous experience of project / programme working to improve the working practices of the team. To use previous healthcare / NHS experience to suggest improvements to the deliverables of the programme.
