Castleford Academy Trust is a cross phase Multi Academy Trust comprising currently of five schools: two secondary academies, one primary academy, one junior academy and one infant academy. The Trust is a medium sized family of schools all located within a geographic cluster within Wakefield.
Castleford Academy Trust is in a period of transition which will see the Trust grow significantly with the academies within Northern Ambition Academies Trust planning to join the trust during the academic year 2024/25.

Trust Estates and Compliance Leader
37 hours per week- Whole Year
(negotiable for an exceptional candidate)
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled professional to work closely with the CEO, Chief Finance and Operations Officer (CFOO), trust, academy, estates, and business leaders to have strategic and operational oversight of trust estates, compliance, and related health and safety work across the Trust. Ideally, you will have significant experience leading estates and compliance in an educational and/or multi-site environment, but more importantly, you will have the key knowledge and awareness, business acumen, flexibility, and determination to make a real difference to our trust.
This is a varied role. As part of the Trust’s drive to build a strong and sustainable infrastructure, you will liaise directly with our trust, business, academy and estates leaders, property consultants, and IT leaders to deliver a robust estates strategy that supports the strategic aims of the Trust resulting in a first-class learning environment for all pupils.
You will be joining the Trust at an exciting time in the development of its estates, and as Trust Estates and Compliance Leader, you will be an integral part of supporting the DFE School Rebuilding programme at two trust academies, leading the implementation of the Trust vision to become carbon neutral through a low-carbon energy infrastructure, reducing waste, and improving the efficiency of the estate.
Your application will need to demonstrate that you are/have:
* Substantial and successful experience of leading estates and compliance in an educational or commercial environment.
* A proven ability to specify and deliver projects on time, within budget and to the required standards.
* Conversant with a wide range of work related legislations.
* Able to develop quality assurance systems to ensure strong performance and impact.
* An enthusiastic leader, committed to ensuring the best possible outcomes for all pupils, staff and stakeholders.
* A strong commitment to personal development for all staff including yourself.
You will also need to be:
* Supportive of the Trust’s ethos and values at all times both within the Trust and the wider community.
* Committed to inspiring pupils and staff in the development initiatives and strategies, promoting whole school improvement.
* An excellent communicator who is at ease with all stakeholders.
* Able to demonstrate an ability to be resilient and determined whilst also providing support.
* Willing and able to undertake regular travel between academy sites and have a full UK driving licence.
