Main duties of the job
1. You will be helping service users who've often endured a lifetime of adversity - abuse, deprivation, and trauma. These individuals grapple with extreme challenges in their relationships, battling issues like emotion management, identity disturbance, impulsiveness, and self-injury.
2. You'll be their guiding light, providing assessment, formulation, and therapeutic intervention based on the latest evidence and our cutting-edge service model.
3. You will be involved in the provision of assessment, formulation & therapeutic intervention to clients referred to the service in line with the most recent evidence and service model.
4. You will work in collaboration with other psychological therapists to deliver specialist psychological interventions to people with Personality Disorders. This will include working individually and in groups.
5. You'll be based in IMPACTT at Erlegh House in Reading and deliver care in a number of premises across Berkshire as required.

19. Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology OR post-graduate qualification in adult psychotherapy.
20. Registered and accredited with Health Care Professional Council (HCPC) for psychologists or UKCP for psychotherapists.

Essential
22. Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology OR post-graduate qualification in adult psychotherapy
23. Registered and accredited with Health Care Professional Council (HCPC) for psychologists or UKCP for psychotherapists.

24. Specialist experience/training in MBT
25. Eligible for graduate membership of BPS (British Psychology Society) and for Chartered Clinical Psychology status and the Division of Clinical Psychology membership.
26. Post-qualification training and qualifications in research methodology, staff training and/or other fields of applied psychology.
27. Supervised practice in psychological therapies.

34. Experience of managing highly complex situations concerning safeguarding and risk management.

42. Demonstrates an understanding of mental health issues and presentations and knowledge of child protection/safeguarding issues and other relevant legislation

44. Doctoral level knowledge of research methodology, research design and complex, multivariate data analysis as practiced within the clinical fields of psychology.
45. High level knowledge of the theory and practice of at least two specialised psychological therapies.
