Let's be honest, data has become the lifeblood of business. And this company's heart needs a bit of cardio. Right now, their data is good. But it could be great. That's where you come in. They're looking for a Junior Finance Analyst who gets twitchy when they see duplicate records, inconsistent entries, or reports that don't quite add up. You'll be the person who knows where the truth lives in the numbers, and who makes sure that everyone else can find it too. What's the job? Your mission as a Junior Finance Analyst is to make sure all business-critical data is accurate, secure, compliant and, crucially, trusted. You'll work across teams like finance, ops, IT and compliance, making sense of the mess and helping everyone else do the same. You'll spend your days: Hunting down dodgy data like a caffeinated Sherlock Holmes. Creating validation processes that stop mistakes before they happen. Supporting people who break stuff without meaning to. Spotting trends in the numbers that no one else noticed. Getting your hands dirty in Excel, SQL, Power BI and whatever other tech they use. What you'll need: A borderline obsession with accuracy and tidiness (of data-we don't care what your desk looks like). Solid experience in data governance, management or QA-ideally in manufacturing, brewing or logistics. A decent understanding of GDPR and data security (so you're not Googling "what is compliance" before meetings). The ability to explain tech stuff to people who still print emails. What you'll get: A salary of up to £33k study support. A chance to actually shape how a company treats its data. Support, development, and a team that won't roll their eyes when you mention metadata. Apply if: You get a weird sense of satisfaction from turning chaos into order. You like helping people-but you also like correcting them when they're wrong. You've got the tech skills to back up the talk, and the people skills to make sure someone listens.
