Future Strategy Club (FSC) is an independent full service creative agency based in London - partnering with global corporates and UK start ups to deliver exceptional strategic and creative work - using a unique lean membership model to guarantee cost-effective results, avoiding the unnecessary costs and upsell of the large group agencies.
Our model reduces unnecessary layers and costs by building bespoke teams made up of the right creative talent for the brief from our 500 experienced members (not from the bench), and then on-boarding the teams and managing every element of the delivery from kick-off to go live.
The Delivery and Client Services teams have over 20 years of experience running complex projects and are fully integrated into our project teams, guaranteeing the delivery of exceptional client outputs, on-time and to budget, every time.
Our services cover the full spectrum of strategic and creative solutions across company culture & purpose, customer experience optimisation, content strategy & production, campaign execution and community building & day to day social management.
In addition to the client projects we deliver, we create a number of thought-leadership publications, including The New Strategist and quarterly white papers.

Additionally to the incredible work we create for our clients, we are committed to using our creative powers for good, so we put a large chunk of our profits into our Creative for Good programme, that spans theatre, comedy, music, art, and community. We run a Social Incubator to drive prosperity into the community by launching impact focused businesses.
The businesses that we have launched through the incubator include Creative Impact Club, Up Peckham, False Summit, and The Vegan Rasta.
In 2024, we invested over £200k into our Incubator. Creative Impact Club, the first of our CIC’s to come from the Social Incubator, delivered over £500k of creative projects for free to local charities in 2024.
FSC hosts a number of events across our Creative for Good programme, supporting young or underserved artists including live music, comedy and theatre. We also sponsor programmes or events that align with our values, including Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair.

Founded in 2018, FSC is start-up that truly believe in a culture of testing and learning, being flexible and showing our values through our work, not just talking about them on social media.
FSC is committed to providing our clients with top-level project teams made up from our membership of talented creative professionals fed up with the usual agency bullshit, who believe in craft, quality and care in all the work that they do.
FSC has a hybrid working environment, with FSC team members spending at least one day a week in our community hub in Bussey Building, Peckham surrounded by our charity partners, FSC professional members and CIC volunteers.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The New Business Director will be responsible for leading all new business and pipeline development efforts. You will play a key role in generating new opportunities, driving potential clients through the sales funnel, and collaborating closely with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to create compelling new business materials and orchestrate strategic events. This role offers significant equity in the business, making you a key stakeholder in the agency’s success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Pipeline Management
* Own and manage the entire business development pipeline, from lead generation to deal closing.
* Identify and qualify new prospects and target accounts that align with the agency’s growth strategy.
* Develop and execute outreach strategies to engage potential clients and move them through the sales funnel.
Collaboration with Marketing
* Work closely with the CMO to create impactful new business materials, presentations, and pitch decks tailored to specific client needs.
* Coordinate the planning and execution of events (digital and in-person) to engage prospects, elevate the agency’s profile, and drive suspects down the funnel.
Client Engagement
* Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and positioning the agency’s solutions effectively.
* Manage the preparation, presentation, and follow-up for new business pitches and proposals.
Reporting & Analytics
* Track and report on all pipeline activity, including lead generation, conversion rates, and overall business development performance.
* Work with the leadership team to set and achieve new business revenue targets.
Strategic Leadership
* Play a key role in shaping the agency’s new business strategy, ensuring alignment with long-term goals, including the planned sale.
* Act as a key point of contact between the business development team and the agency’s leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment across teams.

Qualifications
* Proven track record in a new business development role within a creative agency, marketing firm, or similar environment.
* Strong understanding of the sales pipeline, with the ability to manage multiple prospects and close deals efficiently.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience in crafting compelling pitches and business proposals.
* Ability to work collaboratively with marketing teams to create effective business development materials.
* Experience in organising and executing events (both in-person and virtual) to engage prospects.
* Strong analytical skills to track pipeline metrics and report on performance.
* High level of energy, ambition, and drive, with a focus on achieving results and contributing to the agency’s growth.
