Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with team members to carry out daily activities.
2. Ensure efficient identification, triage, and response to incidents and problems within required timescales.
3. Update Service Desk management tool at each stage of an incident's lifecycle.
4. Proactively monitor servers using event management systems and other tools to identify incidents and take appropriate action.
5. Liaise with specialist support teams.
6. Follow process and work instructions to resolve incidents, problems, and events.
7. Provide updates and reports on active incidents, problems, and events.
8. Update knowledge articles to deliver a standardised service.
9. Produce management reports from ITSM data.
10. Perform or arrange software rebuilds following system failure.
11. Support software deployment and configuration.
12. Support a 24/7 shift pattern, including time keeping and shift cover.
13. Assist Senior Operations Engineer with ad-hoc tasks, including:
14. Ensuring adherence to day-to-day processes.
15. Deputising for Senior Operations Engineer as needed.
16. Managing Incidents and Service Requests accurately.
17. Reviewing calls for quality to ensure high service standards.
18. Providing technical guidance to colleagues.
