Nottingham City Council are looking to appoint a Cook at Crocus Fields short breaks unit for children and young people with disabilities. Crocus Fields offers care to young people who have severe learning disabilities and physical disabilities, many of whom are on the autistic spectrum. The role requires an ability to provide a flexible catering service to meet the needs of service users and staff. The principal duties will include providing meals to meet varied dietary needs of the young people, order and purchase food, menu planning, managing the food budget, offering nutritious and well balanced meal, and complete all the necessary legislative administrative tasks and domestic duties. This post is predominately one where you will be expected to work using your own initiative.
