This post will have responsibility for the provision of financial advice to managers within the Clinical and/or Corporate Directorate structure including our subsidiary company Harrogate Integrated Facilities (HIF) The post holder will adopt a modern, proactive and dynamic approach to ensure the efficient and effective use of financial resources. The post holder will provide appropriate financial performance management and business planning information relating to their activities and budgets that are integral to the achievement of the objectives and targets set by the Trust. You will assist with: Calculation of budgets as part of the annual budget setting process and the production of the opening budgets.Production of timely and accurate monthly budget reports. Investigation and identification of the causes of budget variances. Producing forecast information. Proactive engagement with budget holders and other Trust colleagues. Provide advice and support for the development of business cases. You will be helping the Trust with budgetary control by working proactively with budget holders and meeting on a regular basis, with excellent communication skills to establishing key working relationships with finance and non-finance areas.
