We have an exciting opportunity for a band six nurse or a band five looking for a new challenge to come and work in the Surgical Assessment Unit in Bath. There are lots of exciting changes and we are looking for an enthusiastic nurse to join our workforce in this new chapter We are a fifteen bedded inpatient ward with a same day emergency care assessment area with eleven trolleys and a waiting room. We are committed to delivering high quality, patient focused care in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a passionate nurse to lead and manage a team to effectively run a front door area and manage the surgical inpatient flow within the hospital. Experience at band 5 level on a surgical ward is essential, any experience or knowledge of coordinating a ward is desirable, but we will provide training to develop your knowledge and skills. A teaching qualification is also required to ensure we can continue to support and motivate students. You must have excellent communication and organizational skills as well as being able to prioritize and problem solve. The appointed candidate will be required to work both day shifts, night shifts and weekend working.
