They specialise in various HV and LV projects, with a particular focus on Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station design and installations. With consistent growth and ambitious plans for 2025, they are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Design and analysis of electrical systems using AM-tech software.
2. Creating detailed AutoCAD designs and drawings.
3. Developing site layouts; overlaying designs onto OS maps.
4. Determining appropriate cable sizes and other preparatory design work for various projects.
5. Conduct reviews to ensure compliance with Distribution Network Operator (DNO) standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop electrical systems for HV and LV projects, with a focus on EV charging stations.
2. Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications.
3. Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet client requirements and industry standards.
4. Perform site surveys and integrate findings into design plans.
5. Review and approve designs in accordance with DNO regulations.
Skills and Experience:
1. Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with DWG format.
2. Knowledge of AM-tech software.
3. Understanding of DNO review processes.
4. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
1. Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Relevant experience in electrical design, preferably within the HV sector.
