The Role
We have an excellent opportunity for a Skilled Utility Operative. You must hold a valid LGV Class 2 driving licence. The post is a full term contract where you will be carrying out reactive repairs and maintenance on Street Lighting apparatus, Highways, and Highway Drainage including cyclic gully cleansing and high-pressure jetting. There may also be a requirement to undertake the construction/maintenance of footways and carriageways.
About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and well-organised person to join our hardworking and committed team. You must have the physical ability to lift heavy materials and have experience in working on the highway together with operating highway plant and machines. A full understanding of relevant health and safety requirements is essential. You should possess an LGV driving licence along with good communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work within a team environment.
