Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide administrative support to the Unplanned Management Team to assist in the delivery of operational and clinical performance. The post holder will be responsible for the coordination of all medical staffing across medicine in terms of on-call and ward cover rosters. This will include the development and ongoing management of the medical rosters and ensuring that they are compliant with both European Working Time Directive and New Deal.
The post holder will also record the sickness, annual leave, study leave and special leave for all medical staff within medicine with input and support from all consultants and the directorate management team.

Qualifications
* GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or equivalent.
* Formal training to NVQ Level 4 or Diploma in Administration or Personnel Practice.
