The Facilities Assistant is a crucial member of the team, supporting the efficient delivery of facilities services that enable the smooth running of Natural Resources Wales (NRW) operations. This role is primarily based in the Welsh Government Office at Cathays Park 2, providing on-site support for NRW staff. The Facilities Assistant ensures effective coordination with the Welsh Government Facilities team and external contractors, managing a range of day-to-day tasks including access to meeting rooms, pool cars, office supplies, and handling post and deliveries. By maintaining excellent communication and resolving facilities-related issues, this role ensures a seamless and productive work environment for NRW colleagues within the shared office space. Additionally, the Facilities Assistant contributes to maintaining health and safety standards within the office and ensures that all facilities and equipment are in good working order, supporting the smooth operation of NRWs business activities. As an organisation we support flexible working. You will be contracted to the nearest NRW office to your home and a suitable hybrid working pattern will be agreed on appointment. Any regular face to face meetings or training will be planned in advance.
