What we can offer Meaningful and interesting projects delivered to leaders of industry across emerging energy sectors Flexible working arrangements that balance client, team and individual needs offering some remote working where relevant and appropriate Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion ; we are an organisation actively committed to diversity and inclusion across our business Competitive salary with regular salary reviews to ensure we are rewarding at the right level in line with the market Flexible benefits package ; inclusive of 33 days annual leave (including public holidays), generous contributory pension scheme, private medical cover, 4x base salary life insurance; all of these and more that can be adapted to suit your own lifestyle Commitment to continued professional development; development plans that are tailored to your individual needs and interests Global connections : join experts around the world who are at the leading edge of our industry, shaping the standards of our profession Responsibilities Analysis and Design of steel and concrete structures to various International & Company codes and standards (e.g., European, American, British, Shell, Aramco) Analysis and Design of structure and equipment foundations to static and dynamic loading Analysis and Design using engineering software such as STAAD.Pro, Foundation 3D, Matt 3D, TEDDS Preparation of Basis of Design, Material Specifications, Material takes offs, Scopes of Work, Technical reports, Inter discipline design coordination and supervision Experience of preparing design calculations for steel and concrete structure, seismic design, and design to extreme wind loads, developing design sketches and pass relevant information to designers as required on assigned projects Liaise with Designers in the preparation of CAD drawings, typically using, Microstation, Smartplant E3D, AutoCAD, PDMS, Liaise with other disciplines to accommodate their requirements and with Designers in the preparation of structural and foundation drawings and details Provide technical support to other members of the team Support Senior & Principal Engineers in execution of projects Support development of lessons learnt database Ensure all work to be carried out with a positive attitude toward safety, both in design and in the office environment Qualifications Degree in engineering, or applicable related discipline Progressing towards or recently achieved Chartered Engineer status 2/3yrs Experience in civil engineering design in accordance with current codes of practice Awareness of key health and safety impacts for civil engineering construction contracts Desirable: Understanding of engineering delivery management Ability to work effectively in a diverse team and independently
