Nursery Teacher Croydon Job Description: As a Nursery Teacher in Croydon, you will be responsible for creating a safe and stimulating learning environment for young children. Your primary role will involve planning and implementing a curriculum that meets the individual needs of each child. You will be expected to foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Job Duties: Developing and implementing a curriculum that promotes the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development of children. Creating engaging lesson plans and activities that encourage learning through play. Observing and assessing children's progress and identifying areas for improvement. Communicating effectively with parents and caregivers to provide updates on children's development. Collaborating with colleagues to create a cohesive learning environment. Maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment. Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience working with young children in an educational setting. Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practises. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Education: A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Nursery Teacher. Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Ability to create a nurturing and supportive learning environment. Strong organisational and time management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in child development or early childhood education. Experience working with children with special educational needs. Working Conditions: This is a full-time contract position based in Croydon, Greater London. The salary range is £175 - £250 per day. Benefits will be provided as per company policy.
