Job Overview
As a Health Care Assistant, you will be implementing the kind of care that will give our residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence. You will get to know our residents and their families – helping to ensure we deliver truly personalised care. You will be part of a team of Health Care Assistants, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest of standards and you will be a positive influence on the rest of the team.
About you
You will have or be working towards an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care and ideally 1 years experience in the care sector. What’s essential, though, is your brilliant positive energy and natural ability to get along with people as well as a kind and caring attitude. You will know what good record keeping looks like and be able to manage your time effectively. Whenever you communicate with a resident or co-worker, you’ll be truly considerate and kind. Well, after all, it’s just in your nature.

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
1 year of previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
Must possess a positive attitude and be passionate about working with vulnerable adults.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Job
1. To ensure Residents retain their dignity and individuality at all times.
2. To assist in the general day-to-day activities within the Home.
3. To maintain a safe and secure environment for Residents, staff members and visitors.
4. To provide personal care e.g. washing, feeding.
5. Attend statutory training and any other training as directed by the management.
