You will be proficient in analysing industry trends, identifying growth opportunities, and developing strategies that fuel expansion. It requires a data-driven approach and a deep understanding of the business environment to contribute to strategic decision-making and foster long-term partnerships. You will focus on current and future strategic initiatives, using new and established business relationships. You will support Norbrook's strategic initiatives by providing data-driven insights, market analysis, and business intelligence. It will require an analytical mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to drive growth opportunities and optimize business strategies. Main Activities/Tasks Conduct comprehensive analysis of the global animal health market, identifying trends, growth opportunities, and emerging technologies. Perform competitor analysis to assess market positioning and pinpoint strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Identify new business development opportunities and assist in strategy formulation and execution to drive company growth. Collaborate with key internal teams to develop and refine strategies, ensuring alignment with Norbrook's long-term goals. Build and manage strong relationships with partners, key opinion leaders, and industry experts. Analyse data to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making. Prepare monthly delivery performance reports, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement. Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, to gather insights and refine strategies. Engage with external stakeholders, including potential partners and clients, to gather strategic insights and maintain strong relationships. Stay attuned to shifts in market dynamics, consumer behaviour, and emerging technologies, adapting strategies as necessary. Drive the development of new initiatives, sales proposals, and product offerings tailored to the needs of key accounts. Essential Criteria: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Life Sciences, or a related field 2 years of experience in business development, market research, or a similar analytical role, ideally within the animal health or pharmaceutical industry Strong market analysis, research, and strategy development skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across internal and external teams. High-level analytical aptitude and ability to distil complex data into actionable insights. Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities. Demonstrable business acumen and commercial judgment. Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Willingness to travel internationally as needed. Highly credible with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with senior leadership, clients, and key stakeholders. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
