Main Purpose
To assist in providing an outstanding Health, Safety and Environmental focus throughout the Company, working alongside all departments to ensure all legislation, compliance and standards are strictly adhered to.
The Assistant Health and Safety Advisor will work closely with the team and the Director to drive the companies’ health and safety strategies in line with the overall site objectives.
Training towards becoming jointly accountable for the Health & Safety Department and the measurement, management and implementation of all relevant policies, procedures and compliances.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
· Support/Assist the department in the following:
· Develop, implement and monitor the HS&E accreditations such as ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 across the company
· Develop, implement and monitor the HS&E strategy across all branches and operational sites
· Engaging across sites, implementing health and safety policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
· Provide exceptional support to our varied project teams on all HS&E issues
· Identify possible operational risks or opportunities, and work with project teams to ensure an appropriate and effective response
