Main Scope of the Role:
* Expected to design lighting schemes for projects of varying sizes and complexities for retail, hospitality, commercial, industrial, education, residential applications, and external applications.
* Ability to solve customers’ problems at the design stage or after lighting installation.
* Strong demonstration of design communication.
* Provide a lighting design solution to customer brief, budget, and relevant standards.
* Attend client and design team meetings.
* Prepare presentations to clients.
* Ability to manage own projects and workflow without error or flaw.
* Preparing detailed drawings, schedules, and plans.
Key Result Area:
* Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills.
* Time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects.
* Excellent understanding of lighting technical knowledge.
* Liaise closely with our customers as well as contractors, consultants, engineers, and architects to establish the correct specification of lighting for each enquiry.
* Utilizing PC software packages including MS Office, Relux/Dialux (to produce detailed lighting calculations), AutoCAD (to manipulate floor plans for use with Relux/Dialux), and Adobe Photoshop.
* Assisting in securing orders by value engineering and offering multiple lighting solutions.
* Establish and maintain positive relationships with people at all levels, ensuring regular communication with Managers, Technical Engineers, and support functions.
* Ability to converse in written and oral Spanish would be advantageous.
* Experience in the Lighting Industry.
Salary: TBC dependent on experience.
