Girls PE Teacher
The post holder must be a team player and be able to motivate, enthuse, engage and challenge students. The PE department offer a wide and varied curriculum and have an ethos of skill development and the application of skill within competitive situations. The applicant will be determined to make a difference to progress & attainment outcomes in PE and if already teaching, will have evidence to support this.

All teachers will:
• Be responsible for the quality of teaching and learning of all students who are assigned to them.
• Plan and teach lessons and sequences of lessons to the classes they are assigned to teach within the context of the school’s plans, curriculum and schemes of work.
• Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned students.
• Participate in arrangements for preparing students for external examinations.
• Supervise the work of any support staff, including higher level teaching assistants and support teachers, who are assigned to work with the postholder’s students.
• Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of the school’s policies, practices and procedures in such a way as to support the school’s values and vision.
• Work with others on curriculum and/or student development to secure coordinated outcomes.
• Support the development of literacy and numeracy across the curriculum.
• Promote partnerships with parents/carers.
• Show a commitment to their own professional development
• To act in accordance with, and actively promote, all Trust policies, including Safeguarding, Health and Safety and Equality & Diversity. • To participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD relevant to the role and to engage in Performance Development Reviews (PDRs).
• Preparing and contributing to Trust wide development by sharing best practice and delivering/receiving professional feedback.
• To retain confidentiality and maintain data and/or files in accordance with Trust policies for data governance, as appropriate for the role.
