Qualifications:
There are a number of ways to become a Construction Site Supervisor. As a minimum, you will need 4 or more GCSEs grades A-C (9-4) and at least 2 A Levels or BTEC equivalent.
Educational Pathways:
* Level 3: Study a BTEC Subsidiary or Extended Diploma in Construction & the Built Environment, Civil Engineering, or an Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship in Construction Contracting Operations or Civil Engineering.
* Level 4, 5 & 6: Study a HNC, HND, Higher Apprenticeship, or Degree in Construction and the Built Environment, Civil Engineering, or related subjects.
Salary:
Starting salaries are usually between £28,000 and £35,000. With experience, this could rise to £35,000 to £40,000. Highly experienced supervisors can earn in the region of £40,000 or more.
