Job Summary
The Site Optimisation Team is responsible for the optimisation of all onsite customer journeys including, but not limited to, the customer shopping funnel. Through site analysis, insight and A/B testing the Site Optimisation Team formulates strategies to maximise sales, service and conversion through site content, search, navigation, PLPs, PDPs and cross-GM product curation.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Responsible for executing and optimising the online navigation strategy, providing a consistent and intuitive customer journey whilst supporting key trading and brand priorities.
* Partnering with with Online Content and Online Trading, is responsible for implementing customer journeys on site, including non-transactional journeys (e.g. Loyalty, Store Locator, FAQs, About Us etc.).
* Working with the Online Trading managers, execute key trading events and other initiatives, ensuring the smooth execution of selling strategies across key events and campaigns.
* Through close partnerships with Online Trading, execute GM onsite merchandising strategies (sort orders, cross selling, customer journey triggers) Planning, testing and executing detailed ranking and sorting rules to ensure category and search pages are relevant and fully optimised across all channels/devices
* Responsible for managing onsite search, ensuring optimal configuration and enhancing the customer search experience
* Supports Site Optimisation Managers in delivering timely and actionable insight from analysing onsite customer journeys. Supports in producing and analysing detailed sales, site and channel reports in order to optimise the user journey, and ensure relevant product positioning and categorisation
* Working with the Online Content team, present opportunities to highlight categories, products and trends through onsite edits, headers, landing pages and content spots
* Responsible for photo studio product style guides, working with Online trading to ensure they are kept up to date and accurate
* Supports the A/B testing programme, including the execution of the plan and the production and distribution of results
* Consistently propose new ways to drive sales, conversion and profit through testing and trialling
* Supports in defining and maintaining a list of prioritised Ecom requirements for the Hybris digital product roadmap.
* Supports in creation of lean business cases for the prioritisation of new features / functionality proposed for development. Work with the DPD and Digital IT teams on systems development, requirements and testing.
* Keep abreast of competitor behaviour and market trends. Review competitor websites and industry news - in particular innovations in tech, UI, navigation and website functionality.
* Drive personal development and continuous improvement within team
* Build off-price awareness in self and others by seeking out opportunities to learn from peers and partners in other functions
* Be a voice for the online customer experience in the business, influence key stakeholders through compelling insights and effective presentation of results to drive the online channel in line with business goals and priorities
Skills & Experience
* Strong analytical skills, curious and customer focussed
* Excellent organizational and coordination skills
* In-depth knowledge of web analytic tools including GA Premium with experience using website management / online merchandising systems desirable
* Competent using systems and comfortable working in a technology-based environment
* German Speaking
* Commercially aware, customer obsessed with the ability to use initiative and intuition
* Excellent influencing, relationship building and communication skills
* Able to build relationships quickly and engage with a range of cross functional stakeholders to drive results
* Keen eye for detail with the ability to troubleshoot and identify issues
