Working as a team member, under the direction and delegation of the Continence Nurse Advisors the role will concentrate on the reviews of continence programmes and continence products provision which will be a large part of this role. Reviews may be carried out face to face, over the telephone, in a clinic setting, or in exceptional circumstances in the family home. There will also be online workshops delivered as part of this role. The role requires considerable travel between locations, so a full driving licence and ability to travel between locations is essential, this is a community based post. You will work under the direction of the Nurses to a delegated workload, also having the ability to work independently much of the time and manage your caseload yourself, reporting or escalating any concerns or anomalies in a timely manner. We support and work in a hybrid manner, out and about for clinical work, working from home when appropriate and at the discretion of the Manager. You will have at minimum an understanding and awareness of child development, and also safeguarding, from time to time you may be called upon to support other colleagues within their role, eg. delivery of National Child Measurement Programme annually. Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa. Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa.
