Logistics Health & Safety Manager | Elton | Permanent | £55,000 - £60,000
As Logistics Health & Safety Manager, you'll drive all aspects of health and safety for the Logistics teams for the Elton site, including developing, maintaining and monitoring policies and procedures while supporting the achievement of business objectives keeping employees safe. This includes ensuring legal compliance, identifying & embedding best practices and being a critical influence on the positive safety culture at site.
You will also support the development of Safety Leadership skills across multiple peer groups, raise sustainable standards, be a driver of a step change for safe behaviours and audit overall performance with high visibility and personal engagement style
The Key Requirements
Experienced leadership, networking and communication skills, able to lead by example and influence others within a Logistic environment
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification at minimum Level 5
Knowledge of HS&W Legislation & Environmental Legislation Use of external legal update service, COSHH databases
Knowledge of COMAH Regulations for Lower Tier Establishment
Knowledge of Internal Auditor for ISO14001:2015 standard and H&S Management systems
Experience of claims and liability processes, interaction with HR and insurers
