We have a great opportunity for a Welder/Fabricator with an established engineering company in the Portadown area. Your new company is a successful engineering company which has grown from strength to strength in the last few years. They have a large client base and cover a variety of sectors, making them a low-risk company to join.
Your new role: As a Mig Welder, you will be reading and interpreting blueprints or welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, and preparing machinery for the MIG welding process. You will be setting up, operating, and maintaining welding equipment while ensuring safety measures by wearing specialized goggles, helmets, and gloves. Additionally, you will be performing grinding and thermal cutting operations to obtain desired shapes. The working hours are 7.30am - 5pm Mon - Thurs and Fri until 1pm.
What you'll need to succeed: Ideally, you will have 3 years plus experience as a Welder and Fabricator within engineering. You should be able to read engineering drawings and possess a good working attitude to work well within a team.
